Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

“CSU Ltd” means Clear Sealed Units Ltd, Unit 4, Marlborough Trading Estate, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire HP11 2LB. “Customer” means the trade customer placing the order. “Goods” means the sealed units and/or processed glass products ordered. “Order” means the customer’s order for Goods as accepted by CSU Ltd.

2. Trade Supply Only

CSU Ltd supplies to the trade only. Customers must be bona fide trade businesses — glaziers, fabricators, contractors or developers. CSU Ltd reserves the right to verify trade status and decline orders from non-trade customers.

3. Orders & Acceptance

All orders are subject to acceptance by CSU Ltd. Orders are accepted when manufacturing commences. CSU Ltd reserves the right to decline any order. Dimensions must be specified in millimetres. CSU Ltd manufactures to the dimensions provided — the customer is responsible for accuracy.

4. Prices & Payment

Prices are exclusive of VAT. Payment is due within 30 days of invoice for approved credit accounts, or proforma for non-account customers. CSU Ltd reserves the right to charge interest on overdue accounts at 8% above Bank of England base rate.

5. Delivery

Lead times are estimates and not guaranteed. CSU Ltd shall not be liable for delay. Risk in the Goods passes to the Customer on delivery or collection. The Customer must inspect Goods on receipt and report damage within 24 hours and shortages within 48 hours.

6. Warranty

Sealed units carry a 5-year warranty against seal failure and internal condensation from date of manufacture. Integral blind systems carry a 5-year warranty. Warranty is void if units are stored flat, not installed within 28 days, or if damage results from improper handling, installation or cleaning.

7. Returns & Cancellations

Sealed units are manufactured to order and cannot be returned or cancelled once production has commenced. Faulty or damaged Goods will be replaced or credited at CSU Ltd’s discretion. See our Returns & Refunds policy for the full claims process.

8. Limitation of Liability

CSU Ltd’s liability is limited to the replacement or credit of the defective Goods. CSU Ltd shall not be liable for consequential losses, loss of profit, or costs of installation/removal.

9. Tolerances

Manufacturing tolerances: Width and height ±1mm. Diagonal difference ≤3mm (units up to 1000mm). These are in accordance with and GGF guidelines.

10. Data Protection

CSU Ltd processes personal data connected with your order in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
