Delivery Information
Flexible delivery options — our own vehicles for London and Home Counties, specialist glass courier for nationwide, or free collection from our High Wycombe depot.
Every sealed unit leaves our High Wycombe factory on padded A-frame racking, handled by trained glass drivers from dispatch to your door — or your yard, if you’d rather collect. Here’s exactly how delivery works, whichever route you choose.
How We Package & Handle Your Glass
Every unit is edge-protected and strapped to an A-frame stillage before it leaves the factory, keeping panes vertical and separated so they can’t rub or flex in transit. Larger or heavier units are labelled with handling instructions and orientation arrows, and our drivers carry spare straps and packing materials to re-secure a part-unloaded load between drops on multi-stop routes.
Delivery Guidelines
- Inspect on delivery: Check all units and note any damage on the delivery paperwork immediately
- Report damage within 24 hours: Transit damage must be reported within 24 hours. Shortages within 48 hours.
- Store vertically: Glass must be stored vertically on A-frames under cover. NEVER store flat.
- Adequate access: Ensure vehicle access to delivery point. Glass cannot be carried long distances.
- Someone present: An authorised person must be available to receive and sign for delivery.
- Mechanical handling: Units over 60 kg require mechanical handling. Ensure equipment is available on site.
