How Our Pricing Works
CSU Ltd offers direct manufacturer pricing with no middleman markup — you’re buying from the people who cut, seal and process the unit, not a reseller adding a layer on top.
Every unit is priced per m² against its actual build-up: glass type and thickness per pane, spacer type and width, gas fill, unit dimensions, and any special processing (toughening, laminating, shaping, Georgian bars). There’s a minimum billable area of 0.30 m² per unit — smaller panes are still charged at that floor, which reflects the fixed cost of cutting and sealing a unit regardless of size. Prices are shown excluding VAT throughout, with VAT calculated separately at checkout or on the invoice. Every project gets an individual quote against its own schedule — there’s no generic price list to browse, because the same nominal size can vary in price several times over depending on spec.

What Moves the Price
Four things drive the price of any sealed unit — everything else is detail on top of these.

Toughening, laminating, shaped units and Georgian bars are all priced as additions to the base build-up rather than folded into a flat per-unit rate, so you only pay for the processing a given opening actually needs.

We match each opening to the right spec — glass type, spacer, gas fill and processing — flagging anything that needs toughening or laminating for compliance.

Volume Discounts & Trade Accounts
Volume discounts are available for bulk orders and regular customers, applied where the order size and mix of build-ups allow for it — larger runs of the same spec generally see the biggest reduction in per-unit price.
