A lot of big words to glorify this box. The bigges feat of modern architecture seems to be the language to make everything out of nothing. The real beauty of this house lies in the outside where is life and natural biological structure. The inside looks cold, artificial, lifeless, lonely, inhuman. A bunker is a purely functional structure for war. It is not a place to live. It is not inviting. It is uncomfortable inside and deadly from the outside. A fitting name for this thing.

It blends beautifully with it's surroundings……..but all I could think of were SPIDERS. It looks like their cup of tea.

The house adapts to the landscape rather than the landscape adapts to the house. This is so beautiful, I am never concerned about the view, I agree with him. The simplicity, the elegance …… β€πŸ’œ

So many aspects of this are so beautiful, I love the roof gardens – and all the finishing details are incredible – but it is still a bit 'double-decker ice-cream sandwich' in shape, front on.

Sooo… the roofs are always saturated with water and roots? What could go wrong?

The house is cool and everything, but nothing innovative or inspirational happening. Just another modern concrete block.

  17. This is actually what LΓΈkken looked like before it fell into the sea. True story

  18. The house is a beautiful house, but for an European architect needs more color and warm. The house must be live also alone, live with happyness. She is beautiful without soul…

So many openings and so many crawly and slithery critters in Australia. I wonder how that works out.

Such an "open", seamlessly connected with nature house in Australia? Well, it looks great until you realize that within an hour, when large glass panes are wide open, dozens of species will hatch inside: poisonous spiders, lizards, rodents, worms, and probably snakes, bats and even birds. A visual masterpiece, but as a show off by architects and interior stylists, not an ideal house to live in.

This house is WAY to big, stoney, hard, cold, grey, sterile, ugly and inefficient for being the "best" modern house. It's just something for rich people to brag about.

Would be great in Baja where there are practically no dangerous or annoying critters. Not so sure about here.
