THIS IS A BIG ONE GUYS!! 💕💥 You've asked SO much about how to do windows, how to solve window problems, how to design window coverings… and FINALLY here MY take on how designers do window treatments!! Make sure to comment below with any other questions you may have!! 🔥🥰😍
Hi Lisa, that was so helpful. Can you please think about doing a video for sliding glass doors and what looks good. And some simple ideas for smaller space like a condo, nothing fancy, but solutions for classic interiors? Thx so much.
Do you have any videos for guys that aren't gay?
Ugh I have a beautiful view but have bulk heads that sit on the top of my windows through the whole condo 🙁 I want linen drapes but may have to do shades…
Love your videos! Please tell me what the color that you use on your wall is called. I love the look of the yellow with the white. Thank you!!
Can you do a video on sliding glass doors. Drapery panels hung high, and on the outer edge are a definite but what about covering the actual glass area?
HI Lisa – I'm in the process of making (sewing) new window treatments for my living room. The 3 windows I will be dressing are roughly 28" wide by 60" long. My idea is to make a fixed panel at the bottom that is about 24" in height (inserted inside window frame on a tension rod) and make a roman blind (also inside frame mount) for the upper part of the window that will also cover the fixed panel by a couple of inches when in the down position. I wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your videos and how I am already thinking of a small revision to add more appeal to the finished blind (think I will make a wavy bottom on my blind to help soften the strong linear look). Thank you!
Hi Lisa, I have recently installed custom cordless blinds in our new construction host. The problem is the windows set at 8ft and I cannot comfortably reach the blinds to pull them up or down. Would you have any hacks, ideas on how I can attach a chain/string after the fact. I got them from Lowe’s installer says I can attach chain now. But I’m sure there is a creative solution. Maybe a pull down clasp with a string? Let let me know? Thank you! 🙏
Where video for part 3?
Nerd
Everyone we know thinks we’re nuts for swapping out our plantation shutters for top down – bottom up shades. Removing the shutters has opened up our smaller spaces, eliminated all of the constant dusting, and we have more light and more specific privacy 😍✨🙌🏼
Hi Lisa…I have a Hugh problem. We built our new home 2 years ago with 26 foot high pitch ceiling and windows going all the way up one wall. ( Picture an A Frame home with nothing but windows being the full front side ) Now, their beautiful but bring in way too much light in the afternoon . I love being able to see our land and scenery out of them when the motorized blinds are up but the sound in the room echo's when we try to listen to our surround sound and like I said earlier…If we are watching a movie around 2PM on a Sunday afternoon , we can't se the picture on the TV for the light coming through even though we keep the remote controlled blinds down . I'm trying not to cover the windows too much because their so beautiful but have this problem in the meantime. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
🙏🙏🙏
There is also Springs window fashion(Bali or Graber) they have very nice shades patterns also Levolor as well which is now under Hunter Douglas because c’mon some people do not want to spend too much on window treatments. Graber is more expensive however the product and customer service is top notch…. Bali’s fabric is amazing also look into pleated shades it’s like a roller but pleated they come in 1 in and 2 in look great and do not cost as much as Roman and roller.
Absolutely love your channel!
Your videos are great but where can I find some of these items to buy ? Suggestions..
Any suggestions on window coverings to help with a house that has a large great room with an echo. I was was hoping that some blinds, shades or drapery would help?
I have a window problem that I can not fix. Actually it is several windows, a south facing sunroom. I love the room but the sun is to strong for most plants. So I have sheers now. I hate them…because I can’t see out. Is there something that I can use or put on all those windows to help cut the heat and not kill my plants. I know I could use succulents or cactus. But not fond of them. It kills my big bamboo plants. The room is big and sun comes in the east, south and west. Door to outside is on the west. I don’t mind a blind type but I don’t think they make them almost transparent. If you can make a suggestion, I would be so grateful. I live in central Iowa. Thank you! October 24, 2022

Thank you! You just helped me decide what to do in our rustic cabin…. That has baseboard heaters🤦🏼♀️😂
Love your videos. You make me crack up once in a while, so thank you for being entertaining. All this design stuff is serious when you add up $ panels, rods, etc.
