Good video
really cool process, I was looking for a video that does not require 25 expensive wood machines and japanese carpentry skills. that is accessible and practice, and beautiful door
If you donβt mind sharing, how much did the materials for this project cast you roughly? Not including the tools of course.
I can't believe you made this barn door yourself. It's so well done!
I love you, channel. Be careful when you Use the outlet.
Bold of you to assume i can free hand drill those dowel holes perfectly with no jig, lol. Tried that and had to completely scrap the plan to use dowels and I'm just using pocket holes. Ordered a doweling jig tho.
New to your channel and loving it. This door is exactly what I need
really nice ,can we see a close up on the track please
looks really really good!
You can never be too dramatic about s***#&$-$ doors. So glad I found your channel
super nice
Nice job Shara, I have two of these to install in my lower level remodel and was going to buy the doors but after watching your video I'm going to make them myself. I like your design and the dark square dowells look great. Thanks for the great idea and for sharing with us.
How did you start getting into this ?
beautiful door!!! great work. π
thank you for the video. exactly what I was looking for. I really loved your choice of black stain for wood planks to hold glass in place. in my opinion, it made the door look very nice and kinda expensive. thank you for sharing.
Excellent work πππππ
Okay I'm a fan now lol obsessed with your ideas and work girl! π
Just wondering. How has this door held up to seasonal wood movement? Do dowels overcome the issue of wood expanding and contracting?
Superb! Absolutely superb and the colour contrast with the black trim is perfect imo.
Love the color combo, nice work!
Did you do any planer or jointer work on the wood pieces?
I would think they sell frosted plexiglass? But, good to know there's a workaround. Thanks. Great vid.
Great design. Just what I needed for inspiration. Thanks for the video!
What about the electrical outlet when the door is opened? The door blocks the outlet.
Thanks, really inspiring, I'm going to make one of these to go between my lounge and kitchen. Just wondering, how effective is this door at keeping heat and noise in one room? As with this system there has to be a gap around the edge when closed.
I would feel exactly the same way about that door!
The black trim adds some pop to it. Not to mention it matches the hardware ππ½
Love the door, excellent workmanship. Would using regular glass make the door to heavy?
Just want you to know youβve gained a SUPER FAN!!! Literally binge watching you!!! I want to start wood work but have no idea where to begin! This page is awesome!!

Looks great. Iβve had luck frosting plexiglas by sanding with fine grit disks on an orbital sander.
Love barn doors from the moment I learned about them. How would you have put a lock on this if used on a bath room
Very convenient, the door will make traveling more convenient!
