Great job. Not DIY though.
anyone knows what this makita tool is? https://youtu.be/kLXlr1JRPW8?t=1184
Your missing the wall rail going from the first landing to the second floor.
Stairs looked Great!
however i am concerned about the wood you fastened the horizontal frame to… that wall did not have a support in the right place and you put blocking in… I would have opted to get a 1/8" or even 1/4" steel or aluminum plat that spanned at least four studs and anchored the stairs to that plate knowing that there will be many many years of impact and jarring vibrations through that wall due to the stair mount…
As an amateur with woodworker, i typically feel overpowered with the entire arrangement https://www.youtube.com/post/UgkxrYREG3-7f1Aqk9ams3ZESRNzGnfdUtyQ . Be that as it may, this arrangements drove me through with much clarity and effortlessness woodplans. Works i now work like a genius. That is great!
Is this channel really her ideas Mostly??? Bc she seems to lead the charge etc… Bryce seems to just know how lucky of a man he is! Because she is gorgeous work of Gods Own Hand! In the words of that one Hispanic student you always had in your elementary classes, who always could be heard loud and clear whenever someone got checked out early by their parents…….
"OHH, YOU LUCKY!!!!"

COOL VIDEO Y'ALL! Gy
Until the building inspector comes and tags you for not having a graspable handrail. They do not meet code.
Luv the vid.
Am about to start our treads to.
Those stand off pins look great.
I love this stairs and v log
Beautiful staircase! Glad it is yours to clean.
Come live in my country.. with those $200k you will build a brick's villa.. not a timber house like this one.
t is wonderful. and too so other design cover the glass spacer with the same wood.
excelentπΊ
Something is not adding up here. My Viewrail quote just came back for a similar setup at $27,900. And that is with the new 2023 stairs that use a solid plywood core instead of solid wood.
You call 30.000$ stairs on the budget ?
The house entrance door looks amazing can you share videos for it
A couple that love JESUS CHRIST will surely stand out, you rock guys
Pretty awesome! Your supplier does good work. You guys did a great job too. It looks really good.
View rail makes awesome products I'm hoping to be able to use their glass rail for my house if the budget works.
I wonder if the choice of stairs would have been changed had they not gotten the 99.9% discount. I get why view rail sponsors videos like this but as a business owner that builds and installs custom kitchens I wouldn't want my other customers that pay full price to find out I'm giving away 4 free kitchens a year at a value of 20k a pop.
Really like the look of floating stairs so had to watch this video. Used to stairs attached and cantilevered from the walls and then suspended from cables hanging from the ceiling on the other end. Your stairs look like they are semi-custom as they can use the brackets and other fittings over and over again. In the metal shops I have worked in, mass production techniques would have been used for these items. ( jigs, fixtures, robotic welders, or automatic welding machines that are custom made in the shop sometimes) The rest of the stairs are modified CAD drawings to meet your special needs with custom fabs. Its a great way to get a excellent product at a more affordable price. Good choice!
My glasses are in stairs shaking,
What should I do?
love your hair!
I'm a home handyman, but I was able to work with a local welder and glass company. With research and some thought, and a lot of time and care. I built a glass railed, 2 steel stingers , over 10 foot ,switch back rise. All in $5800.00. Sourcing the hardware was easy, as our cabinet maker pointed me in the right direction. It took 5 guys to move the main glass wall-about 300lbs. It looks beautiful, but I wouldn't do it again.
nice stairs π
With that numbers, you can build decent house in my country, with 2 – 3 rooms π€£π€£
quick question !
we don't have an adjacent concrete wall for the landing. On one side there is a wall but on the other side we have a tall glass window. How do we go about placing a landing in between then???
You can't be more beautiful every day..π₯°ππππ
led lights under would look super
the type which bolts onto the wall I find looks better
Mmmmm. On the Janka scale that measures wood density poplar scores lower than fir and pine which are actual softwoods. Wouldn't call that a good wearing surface. Love the glass though.
Wooow π― spot on video π guys!
I am binge watching on my morning off. Thank you guys for making such great and transparent content. I started with your round table build and now Iβm vicariously building a modern staircase. You guys make it seem like I can do it. I canβt imagine doing all that and filming well. Bravo!
Those are fresh looking stairs! Thanks for sharing and your two did an amazing job. Keep up the fantastic work!
Your temp handrail solution is really nice. Way to be resourceful. Great job.
For something that showed up in 47 boxes and a crate, it seemed very easy to install. And when I say easy I mean uncomplicated. Despite how hard it was to lift things in place. I wish I had a place in my house to put something like that.
You guys should have your own show!!
new sub here! general contarctor and custom design builder for 20+ years….i have to say you guys are awesome…keep up the great attitude and even better work!
We are doing it ourselves from scratch. I want the hidden attachment with wood ends covering the "pin" or whatever is attaching the glass side rails but do you know what they use to attach under the wood edge vs exposed pins? Or do we buy the pins and not use the attached exterior but have a screw like element placed inside the wood that covers the pins? Any idea or help would be super appreciated as we navigate this finished stair as a complete DIY project.
nice
$20k for stairs is not on a budget
I'm 11 episodes into this and I am pretty upset about how unrelatable these videos are. For someone who has an actual budget of 300k they would never be able to accomplish what you have done. In order to accomplish everything you are doing we would need sponsorships or friends/family in the biz who are willing to do work for free. Unless you are well known on social media no one is going to throw a free staircase our way or free concrete for a fireplace or free air conditioning. We wouldn't be able to do a lot of the work ourselves because we don't have experience in framing houses or installing tile. I wish there was some video source out there that can actually help a normal person stay on a budget for a modern home design.
Damn, those hips coming up the stairs look good.
Hard & soft wood is not based on durability but on seed type. FYI
Canβt imagine the cost
Well building a house with all of those sponsorships and βpartnersβ seems very easy the regular person building a house does not have those opportunities or options
What amazing hair you got.
how many bedrooms are in your floor plan?
I was thinking 25000$
This video is great!!
Can you show us your steel and glass door?
