    This is why I try and get all of my protein through my food rather than a powder. I do still supplement with whey isolate if I fall short which is why they call it a SUPPLEMENT.

    It wasn't processed whey. It sounds good but anything overly processed is not only inferior as a "food" but if it wasnt for the fda and the food industry, all ultra processed ingredients wouldn't classify as food. They would probably all be food supplements. And of course. Anyone building muscle and selling a product for that reason is obviously gonna lean more towards what they're promoting

    I use protein for convenience basically I wish I could get it all through whole foods but I'm 44 I can't eat like that anymore.. just 5 years ago I could eat like a horse if I wanted to I just can't do it now I don't know what happened….I have good genetics so i look way younger than I am..     I'm using protein powder, but am curious whether one would be well advised to double up the dosage when over 50 years old AND am wondering whether it causes insuline spikes (and hence could better be avoided).
