how to approach the top most shelves?
That pull out extra counter space option, well I would have designed it to be fully functional and added drawers, love the pull out counter concept.
handless cabinets always remind me of corporate break rooms.
Go big, it's not your space to work in, display big size kitchen
You use yourhands too much 🙂 but good content!
Open shelves attract dust!
My kitchen is 10×6. No room for an island. My two tips for small kitchens is to get rid of duplicate pieces and pick multifunctional ones, and get a double decker dish drying rack (9” counter space rather than typical 18”).
2 minutes in, and thank you thank you for speaking slowly and using highlights lol – will be saving and referencing this video very often in the next few weeks
all the kitchens in here are giant. 😀
Photos too small and not clear.

The Open shelving has one vase or three plates, this does not work as one tends to clutter
I am an island addict I absolutely love them, I have two in the kitchen, one in the bedroom and am considering one in the bathroom 😅
Best design video evverrrrrr 🎉
Small or invisible handles don’t work for older people or those with disabilities.
Great ideas. I am renovating an apartment in Italy and while the kitchen is not small, I want to bring in more light and the views of the sea. I will incorporate the mirror idea to reflect the mountain and sea views. I will also choose tiles for the kitchen backsplash to reflect the light. The single wall with cabinets will be to the ceiling to maximize storage. I have a beautiful Italian antique table I will place on wheels to use as an island and dining table. Thanks for your insight.
In terms of functionality open shelves are for those whose favourite pass time is cleaning.
Oh wow–does anyone know what that misty green colour is at 00:02:04 ? It's so beautiful!

I was thinking of going with anthrocite base cabinets from IKEA only because my small space is literally a grey stone cottage. Just to make it all uniform so it doesn't distract from the eye. But my attached living room, because it's a small loft situation, uses a lot of light neutral colors and organic elements to open the space up. Am I doing it backwards by introducing too much contrast?
