Curtain rods and curtains with sheers. Elegant and you can change them when you like. Also a lot less costly

Excellent video, thank you. For the sliding panels, in the video it looks like 2.5’ is wasted on the right side (meaning is covered and not openable), is this the minimum that can be wasted for a 12’ wide covering? Can that part be overlapping a wall to the side of the sliding doors so it doesn’t block the windows? Is the track deeper on the far right to stack the panels? And finally, does anyone make a control integrated to Google assistant? Thanks and great video.

What do you call the drapes and track system in your video starting at 1:28? How does the one panel drapery slide past the two inner support brackets? It must work differently than grommet draperies cuz with those, you need a separate drape panel between each support bracket.

What about installing honeycomb shaded up and down like the rest of the windows in the room? I'd prefer the look to be uniform.

I had no idea vertical honeycomb existed, and motorized no less. Oh, and whoever invented regular vertical blinds must be in hell right now, why do places insist on using these terrible things.

Gotta say–you've got a few typos in the text in the video, doesn't create a good impression re: attention to detail for an old editor like me!

Loved this video, clear and to the point, very pleasant presenter. I didn't know there were so many types of (very cool) blinds. What states do you work out of? Do you have free estimates? Thanks.

I had those side to side panels that stack up. Really liked them, but the top looked unfinished. What can you do to hide that?

How do I hang draperies with the support hooks in the middle of the rod? Wont those get in the way when I try to slide the drapes open/close?

  33. IrishAnnie 11 months ago

I use a Roman shade from Hunter Douglas. On each side of the doors I hung an antique swing rod with open panel. I hate to see an empty rod strung across the empty space of the doors.

I had verticals on my sliding glass doors when I first moved into my condo….awful, cheap looking, then I went eith curtains….just as bad, they looked heavy and dated, then I went with custom made full length shutters, they were expensive, but worth it,best investment ever, timeless and elegant, they transformed the room.
