No mention of the Tommy built T7/Mp7 clone 🙁
PLEASE GOD LET THE FNC IN… I messed around with the Swedish AK5 while overseas and they were pretty bad ass.
32:00 I would like to know more about the lancers failing. I’ve seen people talk about how the polymer will crack and the mags are trash but very few that can back up the claims. Surprisingly the lancer translucent polymer seems pretty tough even if you look up test on YouTube there’s more tests with the lancers than with the pmag m3 mags. The pmag m3 for sure have the most reliable and smoothest feeding (+high feed angle) of the mags but the long term durability of the lancers vs the pmags I think is up in the air. I also had a horrible lancer l5 (earlier manufactured year) but the newer ones seem better. Botach also will do major deals on the lancers and you can get them for around $10.
Erm, ackshually, the AI AT uses AW308 double stack, double feed mags 🤓
PSA 308 Jakl and Olcan bullpup lower!
It's too bad the Hudson is going to be so different from the original.
PSA is kicking ass. they have already taken care of selling AR and AK platforms. this guy must love Glock… doing the same thing over and over.
The X5.7 actually has a release date, (Q1/summer?) 2025. They revealed this at SHOT.
If Pindad do their QC properly for the exports to the US, which im assuming they would, then itll be quite reliable. Their facility and machineries have the ability to deliver top notch quality in house.
Honestly, PSA had cooler stuff than the 5.7. sure, a modern pdw thst looks like an mp7 is a neat thing for some people. But I'm much more excited for the JAKL-H and the olcan bullpup lower, which will be adapted to the .308 version as well. And, lets face another fact, PSA is without a doubt considering suppressors
The Mongoose literally made me say "that is a terrible idea" out loud. Who the hell would want a PCC with potentially inaccurate lockup and likely requires a booster to suppress? Let alone all that for $2000+? Ironically I was actually interested and somewhat understood the cost when I heard "tilting bolt" but "tilting barrel" makes this thing really make no sense IMO.
A few notes on the Accuracy International.
The AI AT-XC is an updated version of the AT-X that was introduced nearly three years ago. The AT-X has the same action as the AT but the AT-XC has what is essentially a short action AX-SR action with improved lug geometry, lighting cuts, over pressure ports, and a larger bolt handle. This action will be smoother than the AT-X. The AT-XC buttstock is unique to the AT-X and not the same as the AX-SR. Later this year there will be a LE specific version similar to what U.S. CBP BORTAC ordered with a shorter forend to allow a 16.5” barrel and the standard AI trigger as opposed to the comp trigger found on the AT-X and AT-XC.
The AI Keyslot is not Keymod. Keyslot screws are beveled and lock into the hand guard when tightened. They are self centering and fit flush into the hand guard. It’s a fantastic means of attachment, especially with heavy barrels, and I wish it was more popular. Every AI rifle since 2014 has their Quicklok barrel system that allows you to swap barrels in a few minutes. I wouldn’t want M-lok screws scraping or contacting the side of my barrels. The AI barrel contour is fairly stout.
What gun is in the top left of the thumbnail?
I just want the Scope from the Halo Sniper Rifle. You just click down on one of the sticks and boom 5x, click again and its 10x, etc.
If someone wants to sell a million rifles all they have to do is make a 7.62×39 rifle that takes AK mags, has AR controls, doesn’t suck and is under $1,250
Eeeesh the shade. LC Carbine – great companion for those who already have the mate or cartridge. It would be great around the farm for assorted varmints. If it gets a little wet or scuffed who cares, and affords you a long enough rail to put whatever it is you need on there. Bungie it to the atv, light enough to pack. 5.7 could get a right decent boost from a true 16".
The scope switch would work great in the ole deer stand. some of the ole marmots around here are pretty keen on movement and being able to adjust with minimal movement on a small target can make the difference.
Some of these things are billed as tacticool because thats the way these markets have been leaning for along time, but shine much better in perhaps more practical applications.
In regard to the Swedish AK5c, Admin had a pretty cool clone ish rifle on his channel. Took 10 years to assemble the parts!

PWS hit the nail on the head with their URS! that's gonna get a crap load of sales I feel
I live in the sticks and damn near everyone has a Keltec sub 2000 as a backpack/truck/razor side by side gun. They are dirt cheap and they go boom. You can treat them like shit and not worry about it since they only cost 400bucks. I personally dont have one as i use short 300blk for that use case
Hi, big Canik and Walther fan here who runs a canik in USPSA, just clarifying a few things that came up. Caniks are in fact direct P99 clones. The canik TP9DA uses the P99’s anti stress system, but most other models are single action only P99s rather than safe action partially cocked style A lot of the older models can even swap slides with walthers just fine, including the PPQ and PDP. They can’t swap slides anymore with the newer generation of caniks, which have a slightly different slide design to reduce the bore axis a little bit.
But a lot of parts will work in both like connectors, guide rods, trigger bars, slide releases, etc.
Dude, "Bullpups suck. They are sooooo slow when I'm standing completely still with zero external factors, and it's not an AR."
Other Dude, "Ok, put on your full battle rattle, get in your car, drive over there, shoot out of your car, then get out of your car, hold the rifle on target for a full minute while standing, and tell me what you think about them again."
Mehh- im not sure its fair to say that no one bought arx hot swap barrels. They were not plentiful, and the only other barrels i remember seeing was.. a 300bo? maybe it was an sbr 556. That doesn't tickle a lot of fancy.
That Daniel Defense H9 pistol is butt ugly. I would have expected more from DD but I had one of their very early DDM4V7's and it was crap…a $1,600 AR15 in around 2011-12 or earlier and it was hard put to shoot a 4" group at 100 yards. Sold it and no more DD stuff for me. I have several AR's: Colt, DPMS, BCM, PWS, Troy, Radical, etc and they are all accurate.
re: kel-tec sub2000 – what they need to do is make a 8-10ish inch version with a stabilizing blade on the back instead of a "stock". that thing would be absolutely teeny when folded. it'd be like a lunchbox gun instead of a backpack gun, while still reaping most of the velocity/accuracy/shootability benefits of a full size carbine
oh, and on the subject of "carbines fire 9mm too fast, it just disintegrates"… just use 147's, they don't gain as much velocity in longer barrels, will still remain subsonic regardless of what you shoot them out of, and the moderately higher BC means they don't bleed the extra velocity at intermediate ranges.
PSA, as always, has my attention. The mp7 we have at home and the ar retro line specifically. Need to pick up a 635, but still mostly looking for 20" 1 : 12 pencil barrels to restock. And still looking forward to the ptr g41 clone. Be interested in the ptr suppressors, if their wasn't an nfa in the way
I just buy 30 psa ar15s per year for the apocalypse
F
Paul reminds me of my dad.
LC Carbine has been around for some time….
Lever guns are great for their handiness in the wilderness, hence why most modern iterations began as derivatives of guide guns….
My buddy had a fnc with a folding stock, we would take out shooting on the 90s. It was cool, and fun to shoot. I would love to see that brought back in a full size rifle. I think alot of people are going retro, because the rabbit hole of the latest and greatest along with ammo prices are getting way to expensive for the masses.
Pindad Arms coming through with the BM-59 Clone (The SP-1) is sweet AF!!
PM-1 in closed bolt & semi-auto operation. .
Damn I need these in my collection when these two become available
AM scope slide would be great for hog hunting. I change between 1-6 power like crazy when hunting hogs. And I don’t run lasers or anything crazy. Just a white light so weight wouldn’t be an issue. Might be a small market but I can see the use
PSA is killing it with making more guns that will need to come back for warranty!
Scope switch can still be manually operated, Kaya at classic did it in his range day video. I personally think this is advancing optical solutions. similar to sig with their electronic BDC for the spear weapon system. Seemed gimmicky till Garand thumb tested it and repeatedly got first round hits at random distances proving it's potential. It's about automating bullseyes and making it easier for the shooter. Now take that tech and incorporate this scope switch and I'd argue that would be an extremely effective optic setup. My main concern is the weight though. Does this add another lbs+ to a rifle?
Great video!
Thank you for the excellent video Henry & Josh
By far my favorite guntuber channel! Keep doing the deep dives like this I like listening while feeding cattle!
Only things to really dislike are the one brazillian PCCs and Leverguns no one asked for.
PSA knocked it out of the park this year, if they release a sabre line of Jakls itll be hard to not buy one.
Considering the 338 belt fed why so much scepticism??
I mean it's similar to the SIG MG338 whose role is supportive/offensive with 1,500-2,000 capability. And having been trained on the MG3 it looks similar enough to be as reliable.
The extra funtion that it fits in a backpack is probably very useful to a special operator hiking steep terrain.
2:12:12 Pronouns – Was/Were
"But like If you need to reload, your dead".
(translation)"I don't know how to do a tactical reload on a lever action rifle. "
You fire, get behind cover and top off your magazine. Never run the magazine until it's empty. You can do the same with a revolver and keep it going in a gunfight.
