Hi All, This is a hard copy of NIST Special Publication 800-53 “Security and Privacy Controls for Information Systems and Organizations”. This publication is free in digital form on the NIST website. However, if you are like me an analog copy can be beneficial when studying new resources. This hard copy has not been edited in any way. No training tips, anecdotes or lesson plans are added. The only difference with this copy is that it is reduced to an 8×10 paper bound softback book size and printed in grayscale to reduce printing costs to make it as affordable as possible. I do not intend to make a profit off this publication. That being said I think my time is worth something since I’m a working person, so the cost of this book would be printing costs, distribution costs and roughly a cup of coffee to me. I hope you find it a value addition. For reference, the cost of taking this publication to your local print shop and spiral bound is roughly $50-60. I think you will be very impressed with the quality and convenience of this copy.
