In this instructional series, we will guide you on how to fix internal blinds using magnets. Internal blinds are a popular choice for many households as they provide an attractive and practical way to control light and privacy. Fortunately, with the help of magnets, you can easily address these problems and have your blinds functioning smoothly again.

Materials Needed:

  • Magnets (strong magnets are recommended)
  • Super glue
  • Replacement cord (if required)
  • Replacement slats (if required)

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Identify the broken cord or bent slats that need fixing.
  2. Carefully remove the damaged slats by gently pulling them out from the brackets.
  3. If there is a broken cord, replace it with a new one by threading it through the holes in the slats.
  4. Apply super glue to the ends of the replacement cord and attach it to the magnet.
  5. Align the magnet with the metal rod inside the blind brackets, ensuring a secure fit.
  6. Slide the replacement slats back into place, making sure they are properly aligned.
  7. Test the blinds by operating the control mechanism to ensure they are functioning correctly.

Thanks! We were preparing to hire someone to fix this problem. Took only a matter of minutes to fix once I watched the video. In fact, it took me longer to walk to the door than it did to fix. Great job!

Hi, I have been raising and lowering the operator to my internal blind without any luck. This morning I put all my weight into it and did hear the double click but it didn't fix the disconnected magnet situation. Any advice, please???

    Great video.
Wonder if you know where one can find parts for the magnetic operator in Canada? A metal stick for one side of the plastic wheel within the magnetic operator was missing for my internal blinds. Mine is exactly the same as what you showed in the video. Any information will be appreciated.
