Acoustic Glass
Acoustic glass is a type of laminated safety glass with an interlayer that provides significant noise insulation and makes interior spaces quieter.
The use of acoustic glass greatly reduces noise pollution from air, train, and road traffic, as well as from noisy neighbors. This is also an effective way of retaining sound where the need for confidentiality or consideration for neighbors arises.
Safety glass conforming to BS 6206 is suitable for use in safety-critical locations as well as to combine with other glass products to form a sealed unit.
Typically used for:
- Applications where there is a need to insulate against excessive noise levels.
- Home, office, airport, train station, nightclub, or concert venue.
- Glass partitions, double glazing, and single glazing.
CSU stocks and processes acoustic glass in a variety of thicknesses, including:
6.8mm, 8.8mm, 10.8mm, 12.8mm and 16.8mm.
