What type of resin do you use? I use art cast resin from designer epoxy and I get 45mins to 55mins working time with the resin and no matter how long I wait I can never get that kind of wave results and I have tried half a dozen times and 2 same technique as you explain in this video but mine look like garbage.

I’m unclear about something. Some of these items are meant to be purely decorative but most are at least suggested for kitchen tasks. These serving or cutting boards, coasters, etc, decorated this way are no longer flat in a large section. Effectively ruining their practicality.
Do you pour a full clear epoxy over the entire piece to level it? Or are people generally dumb enough to try cutting or balancing a coffee on a lumpy surface?

I was hoping to see a good comparison between cheap resin and "quality" resin but you ended up souring the test by messing with techniques. If you had done the same techniques with both resins, I think we may have learned more of what you were trying to teach. I'm going to do my own test using the correct techniques on both. SMDH

I’m having a terrible result ! I let it sit to thicken & it still runs upward in tentacles !!! I’ve tried 3 different resins ! I be tried the wedding cake, tier nozzle, and also the flat nozzle. It doesn’t matter which nozzle I use or whether I use a hairdryer. The resin just streams upward, does not get good cells and looks uncontrollable and I’m using a low setting.

I see a lot of people doing these boards my question is how do you stop the build up on the bottom edge of it how do you clean that up because you're gonna end up with drippings correct

  24. @alerazza5757 11 months ago

Hi, I'm writing you from Italy. Can I ask you if the white is pure pigment, or does it already contain some additive to produce the cells or if instead you add some additive to the wite resin that produces the cell effect with heat or time? Thanks for the reply

Just YouTube though I'll look for you on insta…I was wondering do you have a discount code for Barnes resin? I was thinking about trying it today…

This was done a year ago Sheri but so enormously educational for my wave making. I have two beach scenes I have done over and over not realizing that less is more. I kept going over the white wave again and again and not knowing why my waves didn’t look like everyone else’s…now I know…once is ENOUGH!
Thank you so much for this video , you’re awesome❤️❤️❤️
